Tina weds Nishit
Indian weddings are full of colors, energy, nonstop food and this one had no paucity of either. I love this shot because this is the time when a girl changes her party from her parents side to her grooms side. When the groom enters the mandap, his shoes are typically stolen and he has to bid to get them back. The reason being, traditionally he has to exit the mandap with his bride in the same shoes. And the shoes stolen by the girl's parents family are now available at a cost. Now the bride leaves her parents side and is bargaining for her husband. It is always a fun to watch how these traditions evolved and make sense. Best wishes to Tina and Nishit :)
