I have put together a list of some of the most frequently asked questions for your convenience.
If you have any specific questions or looking for more details, please email me at [email protected] and I will get back to you within 24 hours.
What type of camera do you use?
I always shoot with a full frame Nikon camera as a primary and secondary body with high end lenses.
Do you shoot JPEG or RAW?
I always shoot in RAW. The proofing gallery on my website will include the JPEG images and the final product is delivered to you as a high resolution JPEG format.
Do you deliver all the photos you shoot?
There are many duplicates, test shots and extra shots that are taken during the shooting time. As a photographer, I try to select the best ones from those.
However, if you have a specific request or a need for those, it will need to be included in the contract.
Do you touch up all the images selected and included in my gallery?
Yes, I do. All the images delivered to you are touched for color correction, light and white balance adjustment, black and white processing and cropping as necessary. This ensures consistency and improved quality of the final product.
Do you work alone or have a team of photographers/second photographer?
It really depends on the event I am covering, number of guests, and your requirements. If it's a small wedding (up to 200 guests), I can easily cover it by myself. If there's a need for a second/assistant photographer, I partner with some of the well established photographers in Boston area who are available for an additional fee.
Do you offer video?
Yes, I collaborate with videographers in the Boston area who are available to shoot your wedding in either a cinematic or a photo-journalistic style.
There are various options available from a 3-4 minute wedding trailer to the couple that includes the most important moments captured to a 15-30 minute fully-edited cinematic highlight video of the entire event, with some behind the scenes footage.
Do you provide partial day coverage?
Yes, I do.
Do you have a studio space for indoor portrait sessions?
Not at present. However, if need be, I am open to renting one for the project.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes, I do. Many venues require the photographer to have a liability insurance.
How do I set up an appointment to meet you in person and see your work?

Do you shoot destination weddings? Are there additional fees?
Absolutely. Destination wedding packages are priced differently and include the cost to travel and reasonable accommodations.
How many hours do you suggest we keep aside on the wedding day?
Each wedding is different and unique in it's own way. It's difficult to pinpoint a timeline but here are some recommendations.
Do you need a list of "must have" photographs?
I am committed to capturing as many elements of your day and all of the special moments that are important to you. With my wedding experience, I have a great perspective on the flow of weddings and the events that are often important to couples. The process runs smoothly if I have a list of the family and wedding party photos that you would like taken so that I can organize these efficiently. If there is anything special or unique to your special day just let me know. Other than that there’s no need to write a list.
Do you charge for the downtime between events?
Yes, for many reasons. It's not technically a downtime for me as I am spending this time to prep for the next event - set up lights, travel to the second venue or do a family portrait or venue photos.
What happens if we go over the contracted time?
Not all events go as planned or end on time. I understand these uncertainties and do not pack-up/leave at the end of the contracted time.
Instead, I will ask you whether or not you want me to extend. If you would like me to stay, I will charge as specified in your contract.
When can I expect the delivery of the wedding photos?
Your wedding photos will be delivered to you within 6-8 weeks after the event depending upon the time of the year. The delivery format (Online Gallery/DVD/Flash Drive) varies as per the package you have contracted for.
Timeline for prints, photo books and albums varies based on the print vendor, and also the image selection and design process.

What is the standard delivery time for engagement photos?

Once the album order is placed, the delivery time is typically 2-3 weeks.

Your images are backed up in an Archive after 365 days. If you lose your images, prior to that, I will replace those at no extra charge. However, after 1 year, there is a $50 charge for additional download.
I highly recommend making a copy of the images from the download or DVD right after the photos are delivered to you.

Are the associated travel fees included in my contract?
